A popular and super-committed member of the Odyssey Social Care team in Thurles, Co. Tipperary celebrated 5 years with us on Friday, November 1st.
Sarah Manahan Corcoran has been a part of Brook Lodge in Two Mile Borris from its early beginnings as an Under 12s Service. She started as a student, then joined the Relief Panel, became a Social Care Worker, and later Social Care Leader – all with the same house.
“Sarah helps to make Brook Lodge a HOME with her amazing care approach and her commitment to meeting the needs of some of our youngest children in the organisation,” says Michelle Gregory, Unit Manager, Brook Lodge.
“Sarah has become a master of wearing two hats in her role as a social care leader supporting and caring for both the young people and the team. She is very creative in her work with the young people and supports her colleagues as she leads the day-to-day care and the household.
Sarah helps to make Brook Lodge a HOME with her amazing care approach and her commitment to meeting the needs of some of our youngest children.
“Sarah has been a mentor and support to many of our students over the years who have later joined our teams within the organisation. She is very much part of the make-up of Brook Lodge and we are very lucky to have her,” Michelle adds.
